Christine Anderson, MN, APRN-BC, Nurse Practitioner. She is a Family Nurse Practitioner who specializes in diagnosing and treating people with kidney disease. She graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor in Science in Nursing and started her career in the Intensive Care Unit at both Emory University Hospital and University Hospital and later worked in an outpatient chemotherapy clinic.  She completed her Masters in Nursing at Georgia Regents University and graduated as a Nurse Practitioner. She discovered she had a special interest in Nephrology and has been employed in this field of medicine ever since 2005.  She is originally from Augusta and feels lucky to have the opportunity to return to the community that has blessed her with so much. When not working, you can find her outside either running (She completed one marathon, one Tough Mudder Race, the swimming leg of the ½ IronMan, and several ½ marathons), horseback riding (She loves foxhunting in Thompson), or being a “Boy Mom” (She has 2 sons). Her favorite part of her job is when she has the opportunity to teach patients about Chronic Kidney Disease.
