Dr Diamond attended the University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, MO. He completed his Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine, as well as a Fellowship in Nephrology, at The Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. He is board-certified in Nephrology, as well as Internal Medicine. He also holds certification as a Fellow of the American College of Nephrology (FASN) and the American College of Physicians (FACP).

Prior to joining Nephrology Associates, Dr Diamond was a Professor of Medicine at The Medical College of Georgia, where he participated in groundbreaking clinical trials, as well as the education of our future physicians. He has a particular clinical interest in hypertension management and glomerular disease.
